I was recently commissioned to do another 5 page tutorial for ~Advanced Photoshop magazine~ Issue 62, this one was actually for one of by previous submissions "Dragonwing" [link]
It was more of a breakdown of the image so the stocks were not provided but it did cover in depth on how i created the image.
The mag just showed up today so i thought I would show you.
The previous one I created for the mag was a 4 page in issue 60 "Creative Photo Illustration" and the image is here [link]
Thx to everyone for all of your ongoing support and if anyone is interested I created a page at facebook for any fans!

Love your work - too many and all too much to add comments to every one - not sure the FU was fair!. Anyway, congrats on the commission, quality and quantity of all your work - you are an inspiration!

Yeah, I saw it when I was looking thru your work. I have just been searching for it again, but cant find it now. Your comment went something like:
"thanks for all those who leaves comments, FU to everyone else"
Made me laugh actually.

I presume by the quality and output that you are a professional. Do you put much of your work in theh REAL - galleries and the like? or do you tend to keep things in cyberspace?
I ask because I am a semi-professional digital artist, and have been pushing against the conservatism of traditional art for some time, trying to get into galleries etc. I wondered how a top-shelf digital artist like yourself got on.
Of course, it isnt really any of my business!!

no it's all good..and yeah sometimes i throw stuff in like that, i don't even remember what image i left that on..;)I'm glad it at least made you laugh..And for your question YES i have numerous exhibits in the realworld. It took me a while to get it started but once i had a few shows other galleries followed suit and put up images..now i have a permanent gallery located at at a local studio and every time i create something new i get it printed and laminated usually 24x36 and put it up for sale...some images sell better than others and it just depends on the traffic of people coming in..it takes a lot a leg work and networking locally to do that though, aside from that the online stuff doesnt sell half as well as it does once its up on a wall..

Cool, thanks for that - its interesting to see how other DA artists get on, even if from another country.
I get my work printed onto canvas - I am luck enough to have a good printer close by that does real cheap deals eg A3 for NZ$30. From there I have been able to get into a couple of prestigous NZ art events, so I guess I am doing ok, although I still feel "looked down upon"by the regular art community, and so am trying to merge my digital style into something more maintstream, with the intention of selling more - of course if I had bookcovers to do...!!!
All the best, many thanks for your replies. Will enjoy watching your new work.
